I was born in Alexandria, VA just outside Washington DC. I had the pleasure of spending my youth exploring the capital of our nation. I loved visiting the museums of the Smithsonian Institution, the Library of Congress, Capital, and the National Monuments. Another part of my childhood was spent happily roaming the holler around Erbacon, WV. My mother was reared there, and her family has deep roots.
The explorations of my youth instilled in me a deep appreciation for both technology and nature. I fervently wish humanity could find a way to mesh the two worlds in harmony.
As an adult, I have seen many parts of the world, but I still know so very little. I would welcome the opportunity to hear from other people who love life, nature, and the finer achievements of humankind.
