President Obama and his administration have lots of work to do to repair the damage done by more than a decade of Republican meddling with our legislative and judicial process.
On two separate occassions, the Department of Justice has released statements inferring actions or opinions to the Obama administration in opposition to campaign promises. The President has not forgotten his promises.
President Bush was responsible for the appointment of many person in the Department of Justice. It is possible that they intend to instill doubt whenever and whereever possible.
